B1 Licensed Engineers who wish to add Boeing 757 RB211 type rating to their Aircraft Maintenance License.

Recommended Minimum Requirements

  • B1 Basic AML and Completed relevant Theory course.
  • AML with 767 Type rating.

Easa Part 147 Approved Type Certificate of Recognition.

Course Objectives

Provide the learner with practical knowledge of the aircraft systems. The learner will be able to perform system, power plant, maintenance and function checks as specified in the Aircraft maintenance manual. Demonstrate the use, interpret and apply appropriate documentation including the FIM (fault isolation manual) and SRM(structural repair manual). the learner will be able to correlate information for making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and rectification. describe procedures for replacement of components unique to aircraft type.

Course Content

Part 147 Approved task training which includes: Location and identification of components. System Bite Checks and tests. Troubleshooting process and procedures review.

This course with the B757 Differences theory course will add the B757 RB211 Type rating to your AML. This course is a differences course, therefore you must hold a B767 type rating on your AML or have previously received B767 theory and practical training.
