The Design Services team at Atlantic Aviation Group can provide an EASA approved design change to allow for stowage and transport of goods in cargo seat bags which are securely fastened to the existing passenger seat structure, allowing airlines to use existing passenger cabin layouts for cargo transport on a temporary basis.

Classification
The installation of ‘cargo seat bags’ for operational use shall be achieved by application for EASA approval of a Major change or Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) as Special Conditions exist for their installation.
Benefits
Allows for a simple reconfiguration of a passenger aircraft’s passenger compartment on a temporary basis for operational purposes. No significant cabin changes are required, allowing flexibility for airlines.
