Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
Essential Job Function
- Become expert in all aircraft job cards related processes.
- Maintain knowledge of Production capabilities and certification requirements.
- Interpret Customer & OEM technical documentation and accurately transfer the information onto job cards.
- Create, modify, update, and revise all master job cards databases up to latest revisions and in accordance with agreed standards.
- Ensure EASA Part 145 compliance in planning and job cards.
- Continuously improve the quality of created job cards.
- Participates in development and amendments of internal manuals and work procedures, as required.
- Ensure the completeness of every master job card database as well as its revision status.
- Identify CDCCL, AD, Component Changes, CPCP, duplicate inspection and critical tasks.
- Evaluate work package and define required access, work scope highlights, EO, Component Change, Deferred Defects, special / NDT tasks, and Maintenance data.
- Identify necessary Standard and Special access job cards to be issued for project.
- Support, modify, update and revise all projects related job cards as required
- Create set of project routine job cards and defect job cards for known defects.
- Customisee EO/SB job cards as required to support Operations.
- Prepare coversheet job cards.
- Collate & fix issues with job cards (master and Project) and coordinate to update associated Master Data.
- Split customer job cards between workstations, phases, and areas.
- Implement TPM /JPM (or other customer specific requirements) into job cards Certify the relevant section of Planning Statement Job cards.
- Liaise with the quality department for job cards related requirements and support with the issuance of Project Tech notes as applicable for specific Customer Job card Certification.
- Co-operate with the Planning Engineer to improve the maintenance processes.
- Provide the relevant on-the-job training to others (as required).
- Provide daily inputs regarding availability and usage of project documentation.
- Follows and implements planning processes as outlined by the Planning & Engineering Manager / Planning Leader.
- Deputise and support the Job Card Engineer- Projects as requested by the Planning Leader
- Follows and implements planning processes as outlined by the Planning & Engineering Manager / Planning Leader.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement and supports Lean initiatives within the Planning department and the planning process.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use of current knowledge and future learning to promote continuous improvement is an important aspect of the role.
- Any other duties and responsibilities identified by the Planning & Engineering Manager or Planning Leader as it relates to Job card Processes.
Candidate Requirements
- University Degree / Diploma or relevant experience in a related field.
- Experience of writing or transcribing documents or work instruction would be an advantage.
- Very customer focused and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience with MS Office Applications and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight schedules.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
- An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills and a commitment to deadlines, targets, and high work standards.
Typical Working Conditions
- Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.
- Work is performed at the AAG Hangar in Shannon.
- PPE is provided by AAG, and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.
- Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.
