Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

Essential Job Function

Provide site specific IT support across multiple departments:

  • Operate ticketing application to track and resolve IT Support issues
  • Desktop Support Windows OS, AV, Office 365
  • Deployment and support of Desktops, Laptops, Tablets and Phones
  • Management of network connections
  • Printer Management
  • Liaising with Vendors for Quotations & Purchase Requisitions
  • IT Security checks
  • Be able to have Fun!

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification and 2+ years of experience with Service Desk, IT support role.
  • Experienced in Windows 10 Professional Desktops operating system.
  • Exposure to certain technology platforms, such as Active Directory, Microsoft O365 and Exchange Online
  • Basic understanding of concepts such as DNS, DHCP, IP, LAN, Wireless, Virtual Private Network
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities to mature service offerings to be self-served
  • Passion for problem solving, with an ability to identify technological solutions to business problems
  • Understanding of performance metrics, benchmarks and KPI’s
  • Willingness to challenge and improve the status-quo and eliminate toil by streamlining processes and introduce automation as much as possible

Typical Working Conditions

  • Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.
  • Work is performed at the AAG Hangar in Shannon and possibly offsite providing AOG support.
  • PPE is provided by AAG and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.
  • Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.
