Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
Essential Job Function
- Provide leadership and support to the A400M MRO Team in the delivery of A400M Line and Base Maintenance ensuring effective and efficient use of manpower including recruitment, promotion, and development of employees.
- Comply with health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards of safety, quality, cost and delivery.
- Develop business strategy and plans in line with strategic goals, identify opportunities for business development and growth.
- Develop and manage internal and external relationships.
- Oversee customer and supplier contracts.
Candidate Requirements
- This is a MAOS 145 Form 4 Nominated Post holder role, therefore candidates must be able to satisfy the MAA requirements.
- Extensive experience in MRO Base Maintenance and experience in Engineering and/or Aircraft Maintenance Management. Ideally also holds a UK CAA or EASA Licence.
- Excellent working knowledge of Aviation Maintenance and Engineering.
- Excellent Technical knowledge.
- You must have experience of people management and effective management of employee relations.
- Experience of contract and supplier management and business planning.
- Computer literate and educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Strong business acumen with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, be accomplished at problem solving with excellent decision-making skills.
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
- Must be able to gain UK MOD security clearance.
Typical Working Conditions
- Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.
- PPE is provided by AAG, and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.
- Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.
